Divya Ranjan, a class 10 boy of Army Public School in Ranchi has created a new social network named Darnster. Darnster was launched on January 15, 2013 by a prestigious Business Management Institution, IIM Ranchi as it's official social network for communicating between professors, students and alumni students. Darnster derives it's unusual name from the first letter of the only founder of the new social network, Divya Ranjan. According to a newspaper report in a national daily, Divya Ranjan got inspiration from the 2010 release "The Social Network" which was based on Facebook, the popular social networking site.
In a first look at Darnster, it looks pretty impressive with fully customizable user interface. Darnster has some special features too which no other social network has. While posting on Darnster, one can easily post on to other popular social networks like Twitter and Facebook. We thought that it was good mix of Facebook and Twitter combining the best features of the two social networks, Facebook and Twitter.
