Today, I was going through my old phones and I came across my two-year old Samsung Galaxy Ace running Android v2.2 (Froyo). When I booted in, I came across with the lockscreen but sadly I didn't know the passcode and at the same time battery was low.

I tried to open the phone by trying different patterns but it didn't work. After about a minute, as my phone's battery was low, I was shown a message saying my battery is low. But, instead of clicking the "OK", I clicked the "Battery Use" button which immediately took me to the phone's battery log option.

And then when I pressed the home button, my phone magically unlocked!! And there I found a flaw in the lockscreen.

You guys can try it too.

  1. Wait for the phone battery to be low and then lock your phone with a passcode.
  2. Wait for the "Low Battery" message to pop up.
  3. In the "Low Battery" message click the "Battery Use" and then press the home button.
  4. BOOM!! Your phone is unlocked!!
